A reflection I wrote, "What 'Once Upon a Time,' a 5-Year-Old, and Bo Prosser Taught Me About Living Missionally," is up on the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship's blog now. I have to say, it's one of my favorite things I've ever written. The series of things/people/events that inspired me were spread out over more than a week, and since by the end of that time I was in NC and computer-less, the entire thing lived in my head until I got back to Memphis and my laptop. When I finally got it typed out, I read it aloud to myself over and over. It just needed an audience... and now it has one. You can't see me, but I'm doing a little dance over here.
Many, many thanks to all who inspired me, encouraged me, and facilitated the sharing of my words. I hope they will be a blessing. Welcome to any of you who are visiting here via the CBF blog! (I am currently trying to live up to its description of me as a "frequent" blogger, as opposed to the more sporadic blogger I have been of late.)
By the way, Boy 2 wants everyone to know that he has since turned six. Here he is in his birthday shirt to prove it:
Blogger and Microsoft Word think "missional" and "missionally" are not real words. They have clearly never been to any kind of Baptist gathering.
